Gazprom and the Government of the Leningrad region have identified the main directions of cooperation in 2010

Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Alexey Miller and the governor of Leningrad Region Valery Serdyukov signed a cooperation agreement for 2010, which, as the main directions of cooperation of the parties determines the development of the gas system of the Leningrad Region and the implementation in the region"s gas pipeline project "Gryazovets - Vyborg.

"Gazprom" and the Government of the Leningrad region will continue the implementation of targeted programs for the construction of new and reconstruction of existing heating systems. Will continue to work together to expand the use of natural gas as motor fuel, according to the official report of Gazprom.

Leningrad Regional Government will ensure full payment of current gas budget consumers, the willingness of new customers to receive gas in accordance with the schedule the synchronization of the program of gasification of 2010, as well as installation of meters of gas.

In addition, the government develop and approve a schedule for transfer organizations in the region to reserve fuel in cold weather, and the procedure for entry into force. In turn, Gazprom will ensure uninterrupted gas supply to consumers of the Leningrad region.
