Guests of the Euro-2012 will live in dormitories on the ships and to villages

Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the Concept of accommodation of guests and participants in the finals of the European championship in football in 2012. This was reported in the Office of Media Relations Secretariat of the Cabinet.
The purpose of the conceptis to create conditions for the temporary accommodation of participants, guests and fans of Euro 2012 through the development of infrastructure quality.
concept to accommodate the participants and fans in the host cities of the championship is scheduled to build new hotels, as well as to reconstruct and re-existing. In addition, it is envisaged that the participants and guests of Euro-2012 will be living in the resort and recreational facilities, student dormitories, on river and sea cruise ship facilities in rural tourism.
The concept will help create a network of modern institutions of all types and categories (especially 4 - and 5-star hotels), improving the quality of care in accordance with European standards and the development of tourism in Ukraine.
establishment and proper use of a developed network of such institutions will help to increase the volume of tourism services to attract additional revenue to the budgets of all levels, positive changes in the structure of employment.
According to preliminary calculations, 16 matches of Euro 2012 to be held in Ukraine, can visit around 800 thousand people. Given that the quota for Ukraine Championship tickets will be 20% (as in the final and semifinal matches - 15%), provides that the matches would be able to visit more than 640 thousand foreign fans.
In addition, at the request of UEFA, Ukraine must ensure the deployment of the national football team and the seven foreign teams - participating in the tournament, officials, VIP-guests, sponsors, accredited professionals - judges, doping control, journalists, etc.
In this connection, the host cities will require a large number of hotels and other establishments that are able to provide quality services to a large number of temporary residence of the participants, guests and fans.
