Previously the most expensive purchase was a picture of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin"s Russia, which was sold last year for 37 million rubles.

All proceeds of the auction are sent to charity. This year at the 65 th anniversary of the Victory 70 percent of the proceeds will be sent to help the veterans, the remaining funds - in medical institutions of St. Petersburg.
